PARISIAN ROOFTOPS FROM QUASIMODO'S PERSPECTIVE
I was meeting some friends for coffee a few days ago, and our meeting place was jut outside the Notre-Dame. This huge and beautiful church makes a good meeting point because it's sort of impossible to miss. We joked about how we should climb up the steps one day, and how we'd definitely do it before we moved back to the UK. And I'm not sure how it happened, but an hour and a half later we were preparing to climb the 387 (yes, 387) steps to the top of the Notre Dame. Those crepes must have made us feel invincible.
Despite all the panting, and lots of fannying about (I swear that staircase witnessed the best off-the-cuff stand up comedy routine it's ever seen), the views from the top were spectacular. At the very top, you can see panoramic views from every angle as the roof has a little circular walkway which allows you to view the Parisian rooftops in every direction.

Isn't the view beautiful? Grab your walking shoes and get ready for the climb, but you can rest assured that the view is worth it!
