THE BEST PHOTO SPOTS AT CHRISTMAS TIME IN MONTMARTRE

The Sacré-Coeur is up there among the most famous tourist spots in Paris. It's iconic white castle-like turrets and elaborate adornments are recognisable as they stand proudly on the hill that overlooks all of Paris. The steep hill of Montmartre shadows over the 18th and 10th arrondissements impressively, and along the streets, artists set up their stalls and cafés open up their fronts with little chairs set under stripy awnings and sparkly lights.

Just look at the sights from a bright and crisp afternoon spent there...

Where to take the best photos in Montmartre!

1. In a little park right outside the metro Abbesses is the very Instagrammable love wall. This huge navy blue tiled wall says I love you in 80 languages, and also happens to get great lighting and the navy will help you stand out!
2. Once you've made it up to the top of Montmartre (so. many. steps. - though you can take a little hill tram, definitely do this), you'll want to take a picture to commemorate the moment! Plus, depending on where you stand, you can see all the way over to the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Montparnasse, the Pantheon and Invalides!
3. Take a photo up the iconic steps with a magnificent backdrop of the Sacré-Coeur! You'll have to get a super keen photographer, ahem I mean friend, to snap some good pictures from a few steps below.

Now you have some inspiration, go and use it to take some memorable photos of your trip!
