BEACH VIBES IN SANTA MONICA, CA

I've been to Santa Monica! Don't mind me, I'm just reminiscing on my time in sunny California!

This summer, during my trip to Las Vegas,  my mum surprised me with a day trip to LA. I was beyond excited to visit California, as it's been on my list for as long as I can remember. I couldn't quite believe how fast we got to LA; from Las Vegas, it's a four-hour drive, and it was lovely to sit back and enjoy the views of the Mojave Desert whilst someone else was driving. Our tour guide also pointed out the actual line of the San Andreas Fault, which my inner school-geographer was nerding out about.

We stopped at Santa Monica, Beverley Hills and the famous mansions of the stars, Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood Sign - all incredible sights to see. This day trip has confirmed how much I would love to come back here, especially to Santa Monica. Something about the beach just instantly made me relax. Today on the blog, I'm sharing some of my photographs of the beach and Santa Monica Pier. We rode the Pacific View Wheel, which was quite pricey but the views were well worth it and the ride lasted forever. You can literally see the beach for miles and miles, it's pure bliss.

The best thing we did on Santa Monica pier was riding the Ferris wheel. Not only did we get some glorious shots, but being above the hustle and bustle was so tranquil and it was incredible to see the views of so much of LA. I definitely recommend it!

Now all I need to do is plan how to convince my boyfriend to come back to California with me... (I know he's reading this, so pleease?)
